Post what's your status? busy?

Some parts of BC Canada seem to be a lot better than others I seem to be noticing.
Aztek (is this spelt right) - you in Victoria? Right?
The island always seems to be busy. At least where I was at and still is.
Vancouver - hmmm not to sure
Interior (kelowna and surrounding area) - Some of you are stationed there. 2 or 3 of you guys maybe?

How are things there? how long are you guys booked for?

It's so different everywhere!!! At least up here in Canada it seems to be. Not sure about our partners to the south but I am interested in both.

Most of BC seems to be ok to good.
Alberta? not sure but i think Calgary still is going strong.
Saskatchewan - ha ha, I grew up there and moved from the frigid cold......and why it is super busy with construction.........I have no idea??

And east of that I have no idea either........Toronto probably busy.

So Northerners and Southerners please chime in. The verdict should be out now on how things are at the moment with summer just around the corner. Althou, poor weather has got me upset delaying exterior stuff. It's on then off........

Nova Scotia Report -

Booked solid into September and quoting a large job for October for a builder I work for regularly. I have been sending business to my competitors/ associates. November and December will be stupid busy as usual so my goal is setting up for Jan and Feb 2011.

Best and busiest year I have ever had!

Didn't you ask for status? lmfao I thought asking about "status" was funny and I wanted to be funny as well... Yeah I'm pretty busy I'm booked till Feb/2011 plus whatever else comes along from now and then. I think Vic is pretty busy most of the time but we do slow down a lot in the winter time, I also think that everyone gets a piece of the cake in this city so it's not very difficult to get busy, a lot of rich people live here and own houses so the work never ends, at least thats what I have experience since I've been in this trade...

Wow, some of you guys are really booked up. I tell people that I'm booking for August, and that seems like a lifetime away for them.

I have work set up for the next three years but I will take a job for this week if it means profits. Hire accordingly to support the business.

So maybe we are talking two different types of jobs. We have work booked on homes/buildings that are not even built yet, hard to imagine a HO waiting months to have their living room painted??

So then why even be in business if you cant book work? Some people should get a 9-5.
