Dfuq is up with all thsi double knee stuff? How much time do you spend on your knees? I really liked the Carhartt whites that they made back in the 90s but those darn double knees they make now kill me in the summer heat and get heavy on a messy day of mixin mud. Dickeys, well yeah dickeys... Of course there is sherwin williams but the only pain I put on the wall is after those morrons rip off wall paper and I have to prep it to keep the blisters down. Craftsman makes a comfy pair but the right knife pocket is not deep enough. Anyone have any other options other then Dicks or Sherwin?

Roundhouse did the same thing, they dropped the single-knee version. They used to be my favorite lightweight whites, but no more.

Seems to me like sherwins always rip out at the knee quicker than others.

I think it's from all the time you have to spend begging to get the sale price.

Who ISN'T on their knees? You don't paint the last 12" nor baseboards? Let alone tape down drops or paper? Never drop an elect plate screw or sweep sparky's mess into a dustpan?

I swear I'm on my knees 40% of the day, and I got the meniscus tears to prove it.

Bend over where going in! Shame it dosnt show on me belly. I bend over so much every day i could just about do things to myself. O.o

Got any good golf courses nearby? I'll work for green fees and golf balls, but I'll need to take off at noon every day so I can get a round in.

I am with Drywall on this one and never have painted kneeling down, always squatting...........I can't get around quick enough on my knee's except when begging for a new job

Now days I am too fat and lazy to squat so I tend to use the roll across the floor method!

Double knees? It's summer, you are supposed to wear shorts!

It's funny how I always made fun of union guys because they don't know how to tape base properly and now I know why. They aren't even allowed to kneel.

yup,

I knew a guy who would lay on his side to paint the bases - most need eyes at the level of the line they are cutting. We did catch him snoozing a few times.

Although his lines were great, his production was slooooow.
