Question after 27 years painting in Michigan Starting over in FL.

I have had my business in Michigan for past 27 years never needing to even advertise. My quality of work spoke for its self. Then I had to move here to Tarpin springs Fl. Do to my family health issues and them living here. I now have to start all over again to get my name out and work. Was wondering if anyone of us out there know how I can go about advertising and getting my name out there so I can start working again going nuts sitting around plus not making any money. Please Help with any ideas that won't break the bank!!!

Welcome to the group.

Just a few quick thoughts; Make sure you have gone around and introduced yourself to the employees of the local paint stores (leave cards etc.). For us, a big help in originally getting our business off the ground again after a change was realtor work. Many here dislike working for them but for us it was, and still is, a big part of what we do. It's been a great referral source for us. Of course, having a website presence will be a big help as well.

Sure others will chime in soon.

Welcome to the forum. Been there moving to a new locale. It'll happen. Patience is a virtue.
