Default Amateur Alert!

... and he's me!

I am an electrical contractor, a small one-man shop. As such, I often work alongside a 'real' paint pro, and have the greatest respect for them. There's a reason it's called a 'skilled trade.'

Yet, I often have to do the small repairs myself. So, I get to patch walls and paint things to match.

It's not only that I think I have something to add to this forum; I have learned much along the way. For example, it was a painter who sold me on the idea that a 5-ft. stepladder was quite useful, and worth the special order.

I'll open my membership here by posting on one of the treads about the Graco cordless, airless paint sprayer.

Hello. This forum is set up for professional painters to come and talk shop while they network with each other. Are you a member of www.contractortalk.com ? I believe that will be a better site for you since it is a mix of all the trades. I am a member there as well and frequent the paint section as well as other areas.

DAMN, NEPS is quick. One may get the impression he's like a cat, patiently biding his time 'til the time to pounce is right -

I wonder if HIS tail twitches as he waits

Of course he is, it also kills him that we can talk about him and he is unable to spread his wit in the thread.

Sometimes I think it would be entertaining to reopen one for a "NEPS minute"

or maybe a VERNEPS minute

You have a copy of the key.

Sometimes I will leave one open for awhile for entertainment.

I just read the op's take on the proshot and from a diy stand point he should of bought a used airless, much more versatile and practicle for his purposes.
