Talking A big "Hey ya'll!" from Upstate South Carolina

Another former lurker here turned believer thanks to many informative posts- I thank you!

Well, I'm in The Upstate of South Carolina and fairly new to the specialty coatings industry. My background is like an all you can eat buffet, serving up everything from robotics and photography to cooking and graphic design. Now, people say I have a knack for refinishing/resurfacing. I figured I was on to something when a couple of the property managers that I do work for wanted me to refinish their personal countertops. Also, real paint slingers that I see on the job show appreciation for my work and some business relationships have developed. For the first time in years, I'm loving what I do! However, I know that I still have plenty to learn about this industry and I'm looking forward to gaining more knowledge from the gurus here.

Welcome. What are you using to refinish the counter tops?

More helmetless riding months in that area.

If and when I move, there will be no more painting.

Thanks for the warm welcome gang!

@Workaholic- Right now I'm using multispec watercolors as my base and seal krete's high performance 2 part urethane for my top coat. I'm looking forward to trying out some of midwest's products, especially the creatastain on some ctops. They seem to be the go to company. I personally know think that they are rockstars for being so open with their knowledge whenever I've called in to pick their brain. So what do you use Work?
