Default Eager to learn

Hey everyone,

First off, after reading the sticky from ProWallGuy and his link to a post by Brian on pricing and estimating, I just want to apologize for jumping right in with a question about pricing. I do appreciate all the responses, even those that were bustin balls, although you guys werent half as bad as the guys on the dry wall forum.

Anyway, after spending the last 15 years working for someone else and spending my nights and weekends doing side work for the last 6, I decided to start my own thing. I realize going in to this I have alot to learn, especially on the business end. so im looking forward to following these posts.

thanks

No shortage of ball bustin' here. Even the old pro's get their share. If it happens, just go to the next reply.....and keep in mind that for the most part, none of it is personal.

HQP,

I didn't get a chance to welcome you in your first thread - WELCOME

about that first thread, I read the title and realized I had nothing to add, so I did not even read (plus I was prolly too busy being silly with some of the other old farts here ).

So I just now skimmed the whole thing since you referenced about chops be busted. Yah, we all get a little of that But I saw a LOT of helpful tips in that thread, as you did also. And as you were advised by another, skip the crap and focus on the help. HOWEVER, sometimes the crap does have some truth in it, just worded wrong - it's always good to "listen" to criticism. Just take the delivery with a grain of salt.

Anyway, stick around and contribute. Some people have one legit question to ask, they get an answer, and do not stay for the party. Hope you will find time to be a contributer also.

Welcome bolyn.

We'd love to hear more about yourself, would you like to start a new thread and tell us a little about who are and your goals?

thanks

Except when it's aimed at Wolfie. Then it's intended to be personal, very personal. :

Note: if you intend sticking around... very helpful.
