Default Emigrating to peka peka, new zealand

Hi all I'm Paul we are moving to peka peka on the first of May this year where I will set up my business almost immediately I have been self employed here in Scotland for last ten years or so.
I am 38 and been in the trade since 15 and am fully time served so 23 years at it now.
This is not first time emigrating had a go at it in 2011 to Australia but unfortunately contracted a lung disease and was advised to go home but disease is in remission now and am going to try again and this time will be a success I'm sure :-)

I hope you have done your homework before emigrating there. A lot of New Zealanders come to Australia looking for work and to earn a decent dollar.

G'day Paul

You came to Australia in 2011 who advised you to go home ? Are you trying to get citizenship in NZ then Australia or just a working holiday ?

Hi I was advised to go home from my doctor as the Medicare bills where killing me!!thankfully my cousin is a doctor in New Zealand whom we are going to stay with.
I'm planning on getting perminant residency in New Zealand using my Australian permanent residency visa. Who knows what will happen in the future I may or may not return to Australia but for now certainly no plans to do so.

I have 4 kids and was told New Zealand is a fantastic place to bring up family what do you guys reckon?

Paul

New Zealand is a great place to live, but the wages and NZ dollar exchange rate is very poor.
