Default Greetings from Alt. Connecticut

Exterior painting, siding, etc. in Providence, RI -- in house on a small fleet of buildings. But I work around southwestern rhode island and south eastern Connecticut the rest of the time, kind of a stateless region [relatively] remote from the capitol of either state where inhabitants have their own thing going on that transcends traditional geographic definitions. Looking occasionally to discuss surface preparation headaches but most interested in cost effective sources folks have surfaced for best paint and sundries.

Glad to have you. Welcome!

Most of the active posters here will urge you to choose excellent products over the cheapest. High quality paint will save you money in the long term with long lasting high quality results. High quality sundries will save you money in the short term by increasing productivity. Buying from a local paint retailer will help ensure there will be a local paint retailer to serve you in the future.

Big Box stores and internet shopping are here to stay. But if actual brick and mortar paint stores disappear, painters will be worse off. And so will everyone and everything that relies on painters.
