Default Hello

My names is Eric. I am 30, ambitiously pursuing a career in the painting trade. I have just three years of Top quality painting experience but I have 5 years in fast paced production environments that required top quality.
As a painter for Capp Street Construction our crew did a complete exterior restoration. This job was top quality cause it was high budget and we were paid time and material. We scraped & sanded all lead based paint of the home, reconditioned siding, and built paint back up to finish paint. Throughout the interior renovation I prepared all painted surfaces for oil and latex based paints and stained woodwork. I familiarized myself with the paint stores and materials that are of a professional grade.

My background in the trades has helped me to generate a strong work ethic and an ability to foster strong relationships with a diverse group of people. I am confident in my current skills and awareness of process.y.

Welcome to PT.
Not sure I'm going to be able to type your PT handle with a straight face too often (think I'll stick to BD). On the other hand, you're not likely to be easily insulted.

What the hells is up with your freaking name? Why not use something a little less offensive like "Tom Thumb" or maybe "Millimeter Peter"

For real whats the deal?

Pat

Welcome Big Richard.

Are you currently working as an employee, or are you now a contractor? Your intro reads like a pretty good resume.

On my jobsites there has always been a big dick.....so i just figured that this site should be the same with all you professionals....and since i had a chance to stake my claim as something that i don't care for...

I agree, stupid name, stupid reason behind the name. At first I thought it was just some guy that got banned from here before. still could be, dunno yet. I have no idea what he wants or what he's looking for.

Default Eric

I am going to change your name to Big Eric until you tell me an alternative that you would rather use.

The name BD is offensive to this site and the people that frequent it, the site owner seems to be rather conservative and we do banter a lot on this site but this name is just going to end up being a problem. Also we have hard working women painters on this site, just something to keep in mind.

If this bothers you then feel free to look for another painting site as there are a lot out there, otherwise stick around, follow the rules and participate.

Hope you understand me
