Default Hello

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to the forum.

I'm Ken
Been in the custom storage cabinet manufacturing and concrete floor coating business for a tad over 9 years. I own Garage Interiors and have 4 employees.

always looking to better our products and process.. Seems I never know enough and need to learn more.

Seems we are always struggling to with our cabinet finishes and joined this forum to educate ourselves on what you guys have learned.

so hopefully you guys can help out when needed and I'll do the same..

believe me, we've done our share of problem solving in the cabinet finishing and epoxy floor coating installations.

best regards
Ken

Welcome Kenaroo,

There are so many variables with epoxy floor coatings and I'm still trying to figure it out. We've chosen the Aqua Pon Waterborne epoxy from PPG as our low VOC/odor floor coating when doing interiors that don't require high impact resistance.

Aqua Pon WB is a thin film coating system that provides quick turnaround, and some chemical and solvent resistance. However, I recently found that the Aqua Pon Clear Coat stains when drops of nitric acid make contact with it. Now I have to figure out a way to remove the stains and protect the surface with something else.
