Default hello all. just joined tonight!

hi, my name is jenni. i live in chicago. i currently work at a woodshop during the day and paint on nights and weekends for clients. i used to paint full-time but i landed a sweet gig making wooden eyewear. i still paint after work and on the weekends because i never want to give up painting. i've read and learned alot on this forum before. hopefully one of these days i'll be able to contribute a good post too.

Welcome Jen,

So you've lurked? And thus you can side step some of the less gentile comments.

Wooden eyeglasses also intrigue me. Wasn't there a bible passage (Matty 7:5) about removing the log from one's own eye before removing the speck of sawdust from a brother's?

HEY, there's a esoteric name for your wood eyeglasses 7/5

VERY nice eyewear. I see there's a dealer in Mass. But I am sure the price (being hand crafted and deservedly high) would be out of my range. I'll have to promote them to people who can afford me.
