Default Hello from Canada.

Very cool website .Wish i had the time to get off my arse and make one years ago.
Anyway,I thought i would stop in and say hi,steal some information and hopefully give some.I have been painting for about 18 years consistent and have painted everything from ... ...actually I'll spare you all.
I am currently painting very high end residential, which i hate.(but that's for another thread.)

Looking forward to talking to other people who take pride in what they do.
Cheers.

Thanks for the welcome guys. It's been about 3 years since i have talked to other actual painters.
I used to talk to my brother who is one of the best painters i know but he is now a Union Rep FOR the painters.I think all he does is adjust his hemorrhoid pillow with his feet up on his desk but I'm not sure.
My step father also owns a large painting company in another province but hasn't touched a brush in about 15 years. He's a great go-to guy for business advice but his answers on paint issues are laughable.

I think i will enjoy this site but paint products vary so much from Canada to the U.S. Do you have many Canadians here?

Nice country, there. Can't say I am a fan of your hockey team - but at least it's better there than in Atlanta (HOTlanta and hockey ??? who was the idiot?). And now the Oilers have someone to grouse about.

Speaking of Edmonton, if you need some TOP NOTCH paper hangers that are a mere 180 miles away, there's a wife and husband team up there. the Bokstroms. Good people, award winning installations.

I think Atlanta should move to Winnipeg. Reunite the Jets!

Long live the Winnipeg Jets!

Thanks Arch. It's always good to know some good paper hangers.
Do they do acoustic wall coverings?

And I'm an old school Bruins fan.

There are many products called "acoustic wall coverings". If what you are talking about is hung with wallcovering techniques, they can do it. If this is a paneled product hung with carpentry techniques, I can't say one way or the other. Contact Eunice or Frank at Design Wallcovering in Edmonton, Alberta

Default Bruins

Back in the day, believe it or not;

Ray Bourque, Cam Neely, and Moog in net, Black and gold disapointment...

Now perhaps one or two of those bull **** american franchises will move North.

No longer a Bruins fan but I can't wait to check out Boston...Half Irish...love history...

Darch Can't you bribe someone to take a better picture of you than that?
I can't believe they let you inside...(Jokes)

All respect, The leaves are down, it's another make or break winter in our home and native land...And I'm trying to quit this site cold turkey

But, before I leave all the pros behind, one last question,
What's a paper hanger? Can't I just use double sided tape?

No recessions alowed in my house,

Seip.
