Default Hello from Columbia SC

Hello,

I've been reading this forum for years, and I thought it was time to register. We are a 3-4 person painting and cabinet company in Columbia SC. I have been in the building industry for almost 30 years and am basically a trained cabinet maker who got tired of having someone else finish my hard work. I am a licensed Home Builder as well as a licensed painter. We specialize in quality repaints and subcontracting our cabinet finishing skills to small cabinet shops. We do on-site cabinet and refinishing work as well. I do not do exteriors unless I am really "hungry". I do most of my work with airless and HVLP sprayers. I just purchased a Titan 440 Multi Finish AAA setup that I am learning to really love. I am a believer in using the best products and cutting no corners. My company tagline is "painting your world perfect". I have been following this website for several years and I want to thank many of you unknown painters out there that have given me great advice without knowing it.

Looking forward to engaging in the conversation and learning from the best.

Cool welcome to PT

Im curious to see some work/ possibly a video of the 440i mulit finish in action. I looked at buying one, still might if i run into the work to justify it again. What have you run through it so far?

I have shot a bunch products through it already, but have only owned it a couple months. I am a big SW fan (hope that isnt a bad thing) and I am trying to go all waterbornes so I mostly have used Kem Aqua Plus, 40-50 gals, Kem Aqua Plus pigmented 30 gals or so and Pro Classic 100 gals or so. It is easy to use and clean, and the finish is just what i was hoping to achieve with it. I have had to relearn the finish schedule with the waterbornes, but was you get used to the slower application rates and longer dry times. the finishes are awesome. I spray mostly with 310 and 312 tips, but have used a couple 519 for larger surfaces and walls. I will try and shoot some vids and post a picture or two soon.
