Default Hello From Connecticut

Hey guys! I’m a carpenter from Connecticut, heard about this place from Contractor Talk. I do a little painting, but wanting to become more proficient at spray finishing and start offering that service to customers. Looking forward to learning learning alotbhere and hopefully giving back where I can.

Gary

Welcome!

Painting is more of an exercise in patience and humility rather than possessing a difficult skill set or technical acumen. You'll do fine given your carpentry background. Particularly, if you've done finish carpentry along with framing.

Welcome to the forum. If you're looking back at previous threads, don't get offended by some of the bashing thrown at carpenters. Like GC's probably have told you, we painters tend to whine and complain alot. It's in our blood.
