Default Hello from Cornwall

Hi all,

Been lurking for a bit and recognise a few names from other forums. Thought it was about time I climbed aboard.

I'm a self employed painter/decorator from north Cornwall UK. Beautiful part of the world to live and work

Main work is domestic, with most coming from word of mouth referrals. Client list is very local, all within 30 mins.

Time to start nosing about a bit more

welcome handy,

BTW, "Pasty Muncher" ???? I hope that is as innocent a colloquialism as "Sucking on a Fag"

You Brits speak a weird language

(yah I know, this has been covered all before, but gotta go through it for the new audience)

Try THIS Bill. It may be "Pastie" Muncher.
The Cornwall boys do like sucking on a Fisherman's Friend let alone Bumming a Fag

Hey handy, I'm handy too, just posted my own introduction the same hour as you today! We both admitted to lurking. I used to live near a town named Cornish, but nobody spoke it... Are you Cornish, or a transplant?

Haha lol. Sorry to disappoint you but I meant the pastry encased meat and veg foodstuff.

Hey....been to Cornwall. Great hike around The Lizard, and even bought a small lighthouse carved from serpentine stone. I washed down a lot of pasties with the great pints of beer you can only get at a British pub. Can't wait to get back there again someday.
