Default Hello from Michigan

I have been spreading this thing called paint since '85.
Glad to see there are other gluttons for punishment. Looking
forward to talking with you all.

Paint? Titanium White, and a little Brook Brown possibly?

Welcome btw.

Gladly.

I am of California breeding, and my lovely wonderful Wife is from Ludington. I moved there in 2000 only to meet up with the amazing fallout of the auto industry ( the first one anyways), and just about every factory shut down leaving 2/3 of the locals unemployed.
Then DOW chemical folded up and left town, leaving the rest to make foam at floricraft ( the stuff in the bottom of floral arrangements, green and fun to poke at).
Yeah.
In order to support my family I had to drive 4 hours south and live in a motel room with 5 other painters...one of them snored so badly I slept in my truck.
Ugh.
Oh wait, nevermind, the fall colors are orgasmic, and spring means the end of 8 wintery months...are you a fudgy by any chance?
Ludington, yuck.

Ludington, yuck.
Now I understand.
I can see how that left a bad taste.
I don't think I would like to live there but we do enjoy visiting.
Do agree best time of year here is fall (color).
But I enjoy winter also.
I am from Allegan.
Thanks for explanation.
