Default hello from the new guy in S.W. WA.

I am a 45 yr old remodeler with 14 remodels and 1 new const./after demo. I love the early 1900's thru 1950's when the craftsmanship was amazing . Early on I painted the houses with inferior paint (no names needed ) trying to save money with the expected results . My now Ex-wife squeaked when she walked and still does , but she squealed like a pig when I hired a proffessional painter on project # 5 or #6 after major flashing throughout the house . The painter used Sherwin Williams in unheated conditions during our cold damp winter with excellent results, ie. correct product applied by a proffessional . I have a current remodel in the completion stage ,paint/trim,using Pro200 latex eggshell with Pro Block latex primer with uneven sheen results on walls / ceiling . Has anyone had the same problem with these products ? I can detail the application process done by my painter to better explain . I called the store manager to the job site tues. then the outside sales rep. came out today to meet myself and the painter ,tomorrow the Portland Ore/Vancouver Wa. area manager is coming out.Outside salesman said it wasn't an application problem but the paint needed to cure 10-14 days for a consistent sheen.??????????Since I am a newbie and computer challenged I welcome any direction from you veterans I can get . Thanks guys and girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't used the pro-200 or Pro Block so can't comment on the sheen "cure" of those but know some product do take awhile to reach their final sheen.

Have you tried any of the Miller products? IMO good quality at a more reasonable price.

Welcome to the forum. I'm down in Oregon.
