Default Hey all Newbie here, but not to painting

Name is Nathan. Found you guys from google.

I started out as an Industrial painter, and from there spread my wings and have done just about every kind of painting from painting water towers and million gallon diesel fuel tanks to interior/exterior house painting and repainted a room after a suicide by shotgun.

Uploaded some pics to my albums, they are all public so you can see em. Can't guarantee the quality of some of them (taken on cell phone cameras over the years).

Found it hard to talk paint to the average person, seems they don't like to talk bout painting much

Well anyway take it easy and I am sure I will be talkin with you guys soon enough!

~ Nathan

Never argue with a fool - they will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Thanks, I wish some of the pics were better, but I have been around enough painters to know just having them and not destroying your camera is awesome enough

I love P51's and WWII bomber/fighters so when I acquired the rig I stripped it all the way down, sanded it and restored it to look like a fighter plane Figured it was gunna be a fight to get the business off the ground, what better way to do it than with a fighter pump It is a 1095 Graco, and spent about $400.00 to get her to that shape. New piston/packings, some minor machining needed to be done to the control box.. and misc. parts. Funny what no work will do to an idle mind

Thanks! I used to work at an ICI Paints store, and when it was brought in for repair. I guess they thought it would be too expensive to do because they wanted to throw it away. It WAS rough. Well the rest is history!

link won't work. They "cleaned" the room I did also, but there was still blood splatter everywhere. I told them I was not going to touch it till they got it all cleaned. BTW if you guys want to make some money, for 13 hours the guy was there cleaning it, he charged $3000.00 for it.. and didn't even get it all :O

Just don't ask what the average cost is? Do you paint over caulking? What should I name my business? Or can anyone paint a door in 10 min?
Other than that ask away.
