Default Hey Hey from the NW

My name is Steve Im from Wa State, I have been a Handyman for the Last 15 years just wanted to give a quick intro, I have done everything from painting small apts to Hotels/Motels. I'm what some would call a "Jack of Trades". High quality works is what I do and nothing less. A rule I live by Is:

Time doesn't fill me. I fill time.
Deadlines and time frames establish parameters, but typically not in a good way. The average person who is given two weeks to complete a task will instinctively adjust his effort so it actually takes two weeks.
Forget deadlines, at least as a way to manage your activity. Tasks should only take as long as they need to take. Do everything as quickly and effectively as you can. Then use your "free" time to get other things done just as quickly and effectively.

Hope to talk to everyone and share tips and advice!!!!

Very good where we are. Only do interior work so we can stay busy regardless of the weather. We're booked up though most of November at this point. I like to try and take most of December off - this year, we'll see.

How about you? If you do exteriors at all I imagine you are in a race with the stormy weather like most are down here. Though it sounds like you have enough other things going to keep working even after the rains start.

I am good like you said racing to beat the rain and cold, painting window trim and doors for a 35 room motel each room has 3 windows right now exterior, hoping I finish before the weather turns... I'm booked until about Oct 20th or so, hoping more work(interior) starts to gather before the 2nd week of Oct.
