Cool Hi all, Central Pa here

Hello, I am totally new to the whole forum thing. I've been painting for about 13 years. Started out as a maintenance painter for an apt. complex. Hated it. How does 350 a week sound?, now just paint 4 apts by yourself every week. lol. I don't dink doh. I did that for 3 years. Then joined the painters union and learned how to paint the right way (and all the ways your not supposed to do it to make the man more money) 2 coats, one up, and one down.

Glad to be here on this forum. Can't wait to get torn apart for asking what you would charge. jk

can anyone tell me why the heck the upload keeps failing for my profile pic? it's less than 100x100, and under the kb limit. Is there an easier way using flickr or something?

Also a profile pic is different than your avatar, not sure if that is what you meant.

Hello D S from another Pennsylvanian, did you stay in the apt repaint market or are you commercial, residential?

Hey hey Painter Guy, I fill up my nights and weekends with apt repaints. People consider it a bottom feeder market I know, but it's been a great source of income for me to fill some gaps, or just be extra work I can do during night or weekend hours. They can be the difference between a good week and a great week.

Most of my work is Residential Repaints, and I am slowly tapping my way into the commercial end of things. I keep a very small crew so I have to be careful the size jobs I bid on, and also need to pay close attention to my work flow. I make every attempt to run this business instead of it running me. lol, if only it was that easy lol.
