Default Hi from Canada

Hey guys! My name's Alec and i'm new around here. I found this site a couple of weeks ago - though I don't remember what I was looking for when I found it lol!

I've been painting for 12 years or so, and been out on my own for 6 years. I have a diploma in Business Admin and am working on a BBA. My first business was pretty big, but I lost it last year in the worst part of the recession, then bounced back with a new business, though keeping it small this time and refining my target market - though that is still a work in progress. I primarily do residential new construction and wood finishing, but dabble in commercial when I have to

I'm glad to have found the site, lots of helpful people and great advice to be found! And no worries, i'll never ask you guys to give me any price other than tree fiddy.

Glad to be here!

Cheers

Welcome aboard, thanks for the great intro!
Glad you made it over from CT! There are a few of us here that bounce back and forth, but consider this place "home"!

Never argue with a fool - they will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Blimey
I don't want to be having nothing to do with Succubi, nice thought but one woman is enough for me, let alone a woman and a demon type thing too.

Anyway, welcome from the UK

Slow for the most part. I'll get one or two projects a month, but the phone is barely ringing right now. I suppose that's to be expected - being so close to Christmas, but it still sucks! Even then, it's been a pretty dissapointing year - nothing like last year.

And it's getting damn cold! I hate the winter lol

How's yours going?

Ya know, just a few days spent here and I can see why it's considered home

I love this forum

Only wish i'd found it sooner! Probably could've saved my last business if i'd known half of what I know now from reading the amazing advice people so willingly share here - truly grateful to be a part of such an awesome community!
