Fill us in. Are you a painter who worked for someone for many years then decided to start your own company, or you just starting from scratch?

Why not walk around your neighborhood and knock on the doors of the houses that need some trim painted or front door. Do it cheap enough to make it worth everyone's time and cover your costs. Put up a yard sign for a week. Do a good job, ask for referrals when your finished. Take before and afters, put them on your facebook page.

I called every contractor I could . I got one job right away and another a couple months later
The first is my best customer

I then went door to door knocking. Persistence with a little luck whrn you don't know anybody goes a long way
