Default Hi there!

I am new to this forum I have been painting for 8 years and I have just recently started painting on my own. My Company name is Old Time Painting and my name is Charley McDowell. I have been reading the post for some time now and thought it would be good to introduce my self and that way I could start asking questions and what not. My main interests lie with exterior projects because I find them to be greatest challenge because of the investment tha tis at stake. Ie protecting a house's integrity. So I thank you for the future advice.
Regards
Charley McDowell

Hi Charley,

How's business in Santa Cruz.

The only work I ever did near SC, was at the RMC plant in Davenport. That was challenging!

Good luck to you and your business.

Business is Good. Almost have the summer booked. Lots of exteriors. Santa Cruz has a lot 100 year old houses that are all in badly need of paint. The funny thing about SC is that a fixer upper cost is 500,000 to 800,000 So you are left with some HOs that are buried in their mortgage but still need a 5,000 paint job to correctly paint their house. So I am finding a balance between a Ford Focus and a Cadillac. Thanks for the warm welcome. As for Davenport they are having issues with the cemex plant and are going through a rough patch never have worked up there but I am sure it was a nice view.

Here are some recent projects. Not really fixer uppers but still built in the first decade of the 20th century.

Never argue with a fool - they will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Thumbs up

No I actually had not thought about it. But I think it is a coincidence that they are both white. Thanks for the compliments!
