I've been reading the forum since March of this year and there is some great info on here so I decided to join and maybe even contribute something from time to time as best I can.....

I owned a Certa Pro franchise about 12 years ago in Northwest Georgia and ran it for nearly three years. The rest of my career has been spent as a CPA and mostly in the healthcare industry as a CFO. Had a chance to relocate closer to Atlanta and decided to give paint contracting another shot given the huge population here and since I already knew the business from the franchise days. First year out has been steady but nowhere near the volume I was looking for. I think if the economy starts to move a little better next year will be much busier for everyone.

Hopefully I will be able to contribute some knowledge and experience, especially as relates to the business side of the industry.
