Default How goes it

Hey everyone! My name is Michael. Been lurking for awhile (years really) and finally decided to join after finally getting my Contractor's License on the 17th of June....after applying on December 17th of last year.

Oh, did I forget to mention? I'm from California. Man, isn't this state awesome? 6 freaking months.

I'll be turning 29 in August. And no, I'm not a felon (you know you were thinking it). For some reason I'm doing this on purpose, in California of all places.

I've been painting since I was 9 years old, and full time for 11 of the last 13 years; or at least as full time as something with a "slow" season can be. I stepped away for a couple of years to manage a retail shoe store thinking that the steady paycheck would be worth it, but it wasn't. So, back to painting I came.

Anyways, that's probably enough. I'm looking forward to being a part of this site. I've gained plenty of valuable information from it over the last few years, so hopefully at some point I'll be able to contribute and help others (but don't count on it ).

Welcome to the group Hines. Not a felon huh? Not sure you'll fit in here but the welcome still stands.

Northern, just east of Sacramento. About 40 miles from the capital, approximately.
