Thumbs up Howdy!

OK - a big bad vendor has entered the fray! I'm Charis & I'm with Sashco. We've been making sealants & finishes for conventional homes & log homes for quite some time...since 1936. You might recognize the names Lexel, Big Stretch and Log Jam - that's some of what we make.

I keep my eye on this forum just in case there are questions I can answer and appreciate what I can learn from others. I promise - I'm only here to answer questions and offer insight based on my experience and knowledge. I'm not here to spam you or sell you anything (unless I go rogue....you never know.....)

Happy to be here!

Welcome aboard!

Big Stretch is all I use unless I need something fast-dry, then it's White-Lightning Bolt

Welcome to PT Charisb.
Who sells Big Stretch in my local market? I am in the Huntsville, Madison County area. Do I have to order it online? I need a few tubes for this siding job. I have never used the stuff but have heard great things about it and I need that stretching capability on this.

Default Huntsville resellers

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

Thanks for the shout-out, VanDamme. (Are you the REAL VanDamme??? Do you make as much money painting as you do in the movies???)

Work - you can find Big Stretch in most any Ace Hardware or True Value Hardware store, as well as most Do-It-Best centers. It's a stock item for most of those co-ops. Don't bother looking for it at the big boxes - we don't sell to them. In general, if it's a smaller mom-and-pop hardware store or a specialty paint store, you can get a hold of it. You can order off our website but local prices are usually cheaper, especially for contractors.

And thanks for the heads up on Wise....

Thanks Charisb. I appreciate it.
I had narrowed it down to ACE but had not called one yet. I did not figure it was at the box stores but I also knew I had not seen them in PPG, SW or ICI.
