I worked for student painters about 20 years ago. Was not all that bad. Actually I started getting side jobs then next thing you know I'm on my own.

Welcome

Pat

I guess I should have asked you if you work for student painters or College pro? "Not sure what they are called now" or are you just a student that paints and wants to be a painter?

Again, welcome aboard. I wish you the best of luck. Heres the problem I have with College Pro......every spring they litter the entire city with hundreds of signs. They post them illegally where ever they please. This is littering plain and simple. Imagine if every single business was to put up hundreds of signs all over the city? Other than that, I havent heard much good about them. Only bad. http://www.urbandictionary.com/defin...works+painting

On the plus side, the city would likely give you an award for removing them. Win-win!

They would post them everywhere. About 10 years ago the local painters union offered members $1 (off dues)per "College Pro" sign. I sent my GFs kids out collecting them. Ended up with close to 100 signs.

Yea, like we're going to take advice from some snot nosed student who thinks he can advise a forum, which boasts a membership with over a thousand years of painting experience, about marketing and painting techniques that were learned through years of trials and tribulations. Go peddle your gimmick somehere else punk!

How was that?!, and welcome to the forum!

Merry Christmas!
