Default I'm back

I'm back after a 6 month painting vacation/ maternity leave. I planned my unplanned 3rd baby really well around the painting season. I had her in December and after 3 months staying home my phone has started blowing up with customers looking for a painter. It's surreal having a baby at almost 40. My 2 older kids are in middle school and high school!

Life is different now. I have to take my baby to estimates. Not sure if that helps or hurts my chances of getting the job. Oh well. It is what it is. Anyone else have a baby in their upper 30s or 40s?

I missed you all and happy to be back as a regular contributor.

**Pic of me pregnant and painting away. I checked the archives for tips painting while pregnant and came up with nothing. It seems I'm a special case

Was wondering where you went. Congrats on the baby! No, never had a baby at anywhere near 40 lol.

Great to have you back! Enjoy motherhood......again.

Glad to see you have returned! You have been missed. As for tips for pregnant painters, there have not been quite enough pregnant painters for the tips to have been coined yet. I am sure you have started the process because you, no doubt, learned a thing or two that can be shared going forward. There do seem to be more women in the trade each year.

I was 20 when my first was born and 26 at the second. By the time I was 44 both had graduated and left home. One had already finished with University and the second opted not to go to University. I must confess I am glad to have had my parenting days early on when I had the greatest amount of energy and enthusiasm for the job.

I have a 5 month old at 40. She's a real blessing ..our first. Later in life is a mixed bag..where did the energy go?

I wouldn't change a thing, though.
