Default I'm here!

Hello all from the cold tundra of South Dakota! (Well it feels like it, right now.)

I've been a long-time lurker to this site, it's been my go-to for advice when I've needed it. I thought it was about time I joined. Doubt I can contribute much, but I surely can learn from you all!

I've been painting for people (contractors) since I was 14, at that point it was mostly oils on outbuildings. I worked for a hardware store, and turned into the "paint girl." A sudden career and life change happened and I fell back on what I know best...Painting. I've had my own painting business for about 5 years. Now I tackle just about anything people throw at me, from woodwork to repaints, new construction to murals, even!

I love my job. I don't care if I'm tired or sore at night sometimes. I know I've done my best and made my customer happy with their space. What other job could I do that would be that satisfying?

Glad to be a part of this community! Looking forward to the wealth of knowledge here!

I already welcomed you in your other post but what the heck (I'm generous like that).

Welcome to PT and congratulations on all your new life events!

Dan

(a "happy" painter eh? Well, this place will take care of that. )
