Default its a painters world

Hi everyone,
So I have been reading thread after thread reading everyones advice and stories here and I have to say, from just the past week of reading I feel a whole lot more confident with everything that goes on with my painting company. I have been having a lot of anxiety with how slow business has been in the last month. It was screaming busy until beginning of december and then nothing. I had a hard time with worrying that I may not get any new jobs. So I found this forum and all everyones advice on being confident and different ways to get your name out has really opened my eyes and made me feel more confident with knowing that work will pick up and more confident on thinking of how I am going to sell!
So thank you to everyone here, I look forward to actually joining in with all the discussions here!

Welcome to PT!

Yep. Woodland's right. This is a funny business.

I've lost track of how many times I've been sitten' at home, no jobs lined up, nothing to do but endlessly scroll through PT, when suddenly the phone rings... and right out of nowhere "Rachel from Cardholder Services" is offering me my "very last chance" to reduce my credit card rates. It's amazing.

Welcome to pt. As they said in Field of Dreams, "If you build it they will come."
Get your name out there, do good work, and they will call.

Welcome. The last month has been slow for me as well but is now picking up. If you were busy the whole season through December that in itself is a good sign. hang in there.

Hang in there buddy. It was slow over the holidays but I am going wide open now.I think sometimes about getting a part-time job. When it's slow a little steady $ would be nice but what would I do now that I am working 6 days a week?

when it is slow is a good time to work on getting your name out there and other similar stuff that you cannot do when you are busy.
