I used to be on the old PWC forum and remembered you from there. I always enjoyed the debates with RK, Dekare, Paul Burns etc.....

Paul never forgets. ;)

blackwell 03-13-2011 08:39 PM

yes rk sadly has passed on and dekare the last I heard was experiencing some hard times. That was a long time ago maybe 7 yrs ?

Schmidt & Co. 03-13-2011 08:43 PM

I knew about RK, and that was a long time ago. I went to the Tampa PDCA convention where I met him, Patti G, Rich Danielson and a few others that I can't remember now. I'm thinking ten years?

DeanV 03-13-2011 08:46 PM

I remember from the PCR the caddies.

what is so memorable about a caddie. its not an exotic its american iron. Now rk he was memorable the must stubborn salesman I have ever known. He violated every rule the forum had but you had to admire his tenacity. We had many arguments on the forums but rk was a friend and emailed me often.

Something tells me it was not the caddie that was memorable, must of been you Blackwell. I have never met you before but have heard of you from the older painting forums.

ewingpainting.net 03-13-2011 09:59 PM

Welcome, I bet some of these young cats can teach you a few things, you felling me blackwell? Groovy man!

Stay thirsty my friend.

GMack 03-14-2011 06:15 PM

Good luck Paint Talkers . . . Don't take this cat too seriously:)

mistcoat 03-14-2011 07:24 PM

Who was it on PCR, that was selling the program or whatever that could bag you squillions of dollars from the industry?

I might just get to buy it if Mr B can point me in the right direction

Bender 03-15-2011 01:26 PM

Excellent. Another masterpainter. Now there are 2 of us.

Wood511 03-15-2011 01:43 PM

How do I get to be a master painter?

When I was younger I used to work as a baiter on a fishing trawler. After some years, I mastered that.

crazywasp 03-15-2011 02:07 PM

Painter? I thought this was the baiter forum

I guess I did have a reputation for increasing the web traffic at several forums the owners made some money off ol jim and thats all well and good. Unfortunately there was some bad feelings when I left and over have the web traffic followed me to other forums. I don't follow the forums as much any more after a while it gets redundant but I do enjoy helping young painters that are willing to think out of the box. sincerely james a. blackwell

Are you the forum GOD?

ewingpainting.net 03-15-2011 10:43 PM

Nope  master painter

blackwell 03-15-2011 10:46 PM

My main gripe with pcr was they permitted several snake oil salesman to use the forum. That why I decided to use this forum because nathan has a handle on this issue. sincerely james a. blackwell

ewingpainting.net 03-15-2011 10:50 PM

Glad we can be the ears to all your troubles.

blackwell 03-15-2011 10:57 PM

Well I haven't visited the forums in yrs and I guess people want to know what I've been up to. Looks like the web hits are up already. Feel the love. sincerely james a. blackwell

Just wait till he starts handing out his MASTER painting drivel, it will pick up. Tim's gonna love this guy.

ewingpainting.net 03-16-2011 08:43 AM

The suspense is killing me. I can't wait.

paintin john 03-16-2011 09:45 AM

Wow.. a Masterpainter with 2 Cadillacs... I've got to pay attention to you JB...

blackwell 03-18-2011 11:53 AM

Somehow I get the feeling you cats aren't making a lot of money in your paint business. Believe me its out there and a lot more than a few cadillacs. I suggest that nathan start an online poll of our income maybe break it down to a few regions. If owning a couple Cadillac is beyond your means then you are not working your business hard enough and making the tough decisions. sincerely james a. blackwell

we would not be able to agree on how to define income:no:

ewingpainting.net 03-18-2011 01:19 PM

I make so much monies by being a master painter, I wonder if I could buy this forum too prove to you all that I have lots of monies. I could buy like 3 Cadillacs and still have lots of monies. I'm doing the monies dance now. :)

 It's hard to take anybody on the net too seriously. We can present ourselves as anything or anybody we want.

I think the caddie comments were to just acknowledge that they knew you Mr. Blackwell. I think you are getting hung up on one thing. I suggest you spread your knowledge throughout the forum by replying to all the other threads that could benefit from your experience. ;)

straight_lines 03-18-2011 08:02 PM

I don't like shopping so I am just gonna buy the Cadillac dealership. Master painters have it like that.

KLaw 03-18-2011 08:42 PM

James - Ignore the "know it alls" and smart asses. Welcome to the forum - bro.
