Never argue with a fool - they will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Still employed, but not nearly getting enough hours, 4 hours this week. The company has been really slow the last 6 weeks.

Eagleye Construction, doing mostly high end reno's, refinishing kitchen cabinets with some new construction. Since the reno tax credit finished things have slowed right down for them.
I'm making $23, but I'd start at $20 for full time hours.

You know Abstract Developments? Google it... I do most of their jobs... They have nearly 18 construction sites going on right now but nothing for painting yet they're all framing still. I have my crew already, I might need some help later in the summer but I can't guarantee anything. I don't think I can pay you more than $18, even if you are a journeyman, that doesn't mean too much to me. I don't do sinks, tubs or appliance refinishing, etc, so I can't pay you for those skills.
