Default Long time reader, Thought I'd add what I can :D

Hey There ! I'm Matt. I live in the Fraser Valley in beautiful British Columbia, Canada!
I've been creeping the forums for years, getting a lot of helpful information and more than a few good laughs! I thought it was about time I joined up. There seems to be a lot of times where I want to add my 2 cents and now I can!

I Started in the industry when I was 15, sweeping after painters spraying a Q-deck with dryfall and have loved it ever since! A good friend of my parents has a large commercial/industrial company here in BC and he took me under his wing. A few year ago I started my own venture with his help and find it to be the best decision I ever made! I'm sure a lot of people here can agree, It's scary, but also a huge rush! I do mostly residential repaints and new construction, and also a little commercial. My wife handles the finances and Most of the office work, and I take care of the quotes and the actual painting.

I look forward to learning more and more from all of you, and adding what I can to these forums!

Cheers,

Matt

Grew up in Aldergrove, based out Langley mostly do work in Abbotsford it seems. Everyone is moving there and can afford to spend some money to repaint instead having a huge mortgage. Lol

One of the main reasons we left Vancouver. Didn't have a million bucks lying around, but wanted to buy a house.

That, and the perpetual rain.
