Forums are where its at. :thum bup:
I got back in the construction business after loosing my a$$ in the medical imaging business. My partner and I have run up against a wall trying to get stareted with all the ^%#$ painters out there doing work for dirt cheap. After reading post on this forum I've discovered some new approaches and ideas, THANKS!!!!! Lately we've been talking about changing our focus to some other part of construction other than painting but don't think we will now.

Never argue with a fool - they will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Thanks guys! Back in the early 80's I started working with a Realtor who had 100's of Fannie Mae foreclosers which we turned and resold. Later I got into building custom homes but that was a huge headache. This market where I live is so saturated with contracors, on any giving norning Home Depot is packed with them, a lot of painters. Now, there's not enough work for all the contractors. It's tough here right now! We've tried a lot of things to get work but nothing seems to be working. Hopefully this site will give me ideas and insights to make this work!
