Default New Guy here...

Hello! Just following the rules and introducing myself.

I'm an Engineer/General Contractor/Remodeler. I've been running my business for many years. I still wear a tool belt. As you can imagine, I have to paint stuff. I thought this might be a good place to learn something and maybe share something I've learned.

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement guys. I hope to learn a lot here.

Regarding hiring pros...yep try to all the time. Although I also try to learn as much as I can about all the specialty trades. I don't do this because I'm trying to steal someones job. I do it because I want to learn how things SHOULD be done. IMHO, it's just real hard to find "real" pros. You know the ones who actually know what they are talking about and more importantly actually know how to paint and stain stuff. I believe finishing is an art form. Wouldn't you agree?
