Default New guy with a question!

I am looking for a EPA lead class in Boston, MA or on Cape Cod. Any ideas? costs? time frames. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum, I moved your post to the intro thread. Feel free to tell us a little about yourself and the gang will be along to welcome you!

As far as a training class, check here.
The classes are offered by third party vendors, some are sponsored by window companies, paint stores like Sherwin Williams and others. So check around your local stores and HBA/Builders Association. It is an 8 hour class and the costs run from $99 to $300. You also need to send in your Certified Firm Application, you don't have to wait to take the class to do that. It is $300, click here.

Just talked to a painter here in Norfolk. He said he was taking a course in Dedham on June 23 through S-W.

Their costs are normally $99.

Otherwise call California Paints up in Andover. They have been having discounted prices with Institute of Environmental Education up in Wilmington. It'll prolly cost around $175 if California is still doing this.

If Calif is no longer sponsoring discounted prices, I think the cost is around $215. You can sign up directly here:
