Hi All!

I have been painting for approximately 10 years. I started working for a buddy to pay for my golf addiction (working 12-14 hours at my regular job). I decided after falling 40 feet while helping a friend out (after getting out of the hospital) to get into the business full time. I have been very lucky by having some very good residential clients and a few nice commercial accounts. I work in the Boston metro market and am happy with my new job description: Paint and golf and paint and more golf. Thanks for having me as a new member!

Interesting call...Rich, what do ya think? Does this make the top 5 strangest things you ever heard a painter say?

I decided today I will become a millionaire, so I bought a lottery ticket. I stayed up late to wait for my winning numbers. I got 1 out of 6.

I then decided I will stick to painting, being a millionaire would be boring.

...I knew a guy, (ok, he was a friend), busted a brand new gallon of wine.

He looked and figgered someone would think it stupid to see the unopened cap on a broken bottle.

So he went to unscrew the cap and lacerated his own hand.

He was always doin stuff like that...

Perhaps you heard about the cabinet maker working alone in his shop who cut off a couple of fingers at the table saw, panicked and as he went into shock thought it would be best to grab the framing nailer and shoot himself in the head...didn't end up killing himself.
