Welcome starwind!

Last spring I painted a pool with an epoxy system called Dura Seal by Smartseal. http://www.smartsealco.com/pool/ The previous coat was acrylic and was almost completely destroyed. This particular job was for my brother, so he did all of the recommended prep short of sand blasting. Pressure washed with detergent, then muriatic acid etch, then several rinses with clean water.

The system required 1 coat of epoxy primer up to 12 mils I believe, and a finish coat of the dark blue epoxy. I had to chase several sags, but it really came out nice. However, if anyone uses this product, it is really slick after curing, and absolutely requires non skid on any steps.

I'm not familiar with Ramuc.
