Default Newbie here

I am new to the industry in New Jersey. Before I went to the Army on active duty I was doing paint jobs in another state but was charging 1.15 per square foot of wall and ceilings at 1.50 per square foot of ceiling plus materials. Now I am back in business here in New Jersey after getting medically retired from the Army. I have been quoting at 1.35 sqft walls and 1.67 per sqft ceilings here and have been having a hard time landing bids here in NJ with that price. Am I over charging or my posting ads on Craigslist just atracting the wrong customer base.

Welcome to the group.

Can't help you with the pricing, but my guess is that no price is cheap enough for Craigslist customers.
