Default Newbie here from CANADA!

Hey everyone!,

I just came across this site randomly today! I have to say i'm glad to have discovered it! So much useful information i was curious to know about.

I've been a painter for about 6 years now and just received my journeyman's ticket and going for my Red seal certification(yes i know this means **** to some of you). I'm currently working on my own with a business that i've started this past year(True Colors Painting) I have to say it has been a positive experience with smiles and frustration along the way. Discovering this site and reading through some of the threads has opened my eyes on ways to improve my company.

I hope to stick around and learn from you all, just thought i would introduce myself.

cheers,
-Mitch

Actually, your 6 years of painting experience, and structured learning environment, and starting your own unique privately run contracting business gives you much valuable experience that even the seasoned vets will be able to learn a thing or two from you.

Your experience level and approach is just fine, and well appreciated by those whom you might think it means **** to.

Welcome.

And very excellent choice for a business name I might add. Your branding has been being established in people's minds every time they ever heard that phrase for their entire life.

Nicely done.

Thanks guys, I am located in western Canada, Edmonton to be exact. I know some of you other canadians may say why do you spell it True (Colors) and not the canadian way True (Colours). "Color" just seemed to flow better on paper, thats all
Anyways thanks for the welcome's from everybody, take care and see you in the threads.
cheers,
-Mitch

I agree, as a U.S. citizen I have always known the cosmic truth that the 'U' in colours is both superfluous, and just downright silly!
