@Chris: Thank you! Good to know I'm not alone here.

@Woodland: For all I know you've bid against each other this year, too, if you've ventured into Oregon at all. I swear we've been all over this year!

I knew this one secretary, she racked up 10,000+ posts in a single year, at one site! She was cutie, so it was mkay with "Big Daddy Bossman" to do "research" online as part of the work detail.

Her (ESP Office) green text and posting ease at the keys tells me this cookie has put in some serious posting time somewhere...I sense a cutie here.

You'd be surprised what I am asked to do in a normal day. On the other hand, I am pretty much always working. Even if I don't take work home, I still check email a few times in the evening. (Which is how I knew these posts were here - I don't think I'll ever subscribe to a thread again!)

Yikes! 10,000?? I don't think *I* would be okay with that. But yes, I do have forum experience. Back in the housewife days, I spent a lot of time on a few forums.

Not sure what you mean by "cutie", but I promise not to take it as an insult.

I tend to share something I found here with my boss at least once a month to spark discussion or brainstorming, or even to ask "why do we do _____ this way?" He suggested I register here and stop lurking in the shadows, so here I am.

I will try to turn off lurk mode every once in a while, and actually participate.

Hopefully it's okay that I am here, even though I don't actually paint. Are there any other strictly admins here?

I see your vans at Miller Paint now and then.

Nutella please!

When I was in receivables, I had a pawn shop owner/client who called me "Missy". Drove me crazy. I finally lost it one day and in a really snotty tone said, "I have a name, and it's not Missy!"

I've matured a little since then - Not offended, just not sure if "cutie" referred to a specific "type" of person.

I hear you there. I do not subscribe to any threads and I am betting most regulars don't. I would hate to get 30 emails on a Friday night from some of these threads.

No more working in Oregon at this time. I would rather have teeth pulled than have to deal with I-5 into Vancouver every afternoon. So far, I have been staying pretty busy in Washington. I really dont miss Hillsboro one bit. No offense. Country living is more my style.
