Default Paint colors

Hello fellow painters...I'm Dave. If you had to choose 1 paint company's colors, what would your choice be?
(For me, it'd be BMoore)

Good question, me? They all look the same. Better question, how do they come up with what must be what? a thousand different names per deck?

I couldn't choose just one. The brand of paint we use mostly is BM but get SW, Behr, Glidden and the others mixed in BM.

I carry a Dulux book with me everywhere I go. I have a BM book under my seat, but I use Dulux the most so why not use there book.

Are you looking to carry 1 fan deck? I have a tote bag of fan decks. I have 5 or 6 from BM alone. I like BM colors, use SW colors & paints the most.

I have similar apps from SW and BM and even Behr has one. The lighting skews the colors-even on a solid object. Difficult to get an accurate color.

I usually have BM and PPG fan decks in the truck but end up giving them to customers. I also had a PPG color scanner that worked great but my dog ended up stepping on it crushing the screen. Scanners are nice but not worth $150 and only work for PPG paints.

Regardless of what brand of colors they choose, there should be a law to ban all CFL bulbs from the premises after the new paint job is done. Lord how I hate those things and what they do to colors.

I give clients two Benny Moore "hag bags" and let them sort it out.
