Default Phoenix Tech International

Hello Paint Talk! I am a new member. I'm currently a project manager / sub-contractor for Phoenix Tech International. We have been in business on the USA for over 35 years and complete thousands of commercial/industrial painting projects. Funny thing, I'm also a web developer and just revamped our website. I'm looking forward to using the forums!

Welcome!

Have you ever participated in other painting forums? You'll find Paint Talk to be pretty "Folksy". It's a lot of fun, with the occasional shop talk.

I have been a member of other forums. Not necessarily painting related but I'm kind of old school and like the old (forum) based websites as opposed to Facebook ect. In fact, I learned web development on an older forum that used to be called Webmaster Forums.

I'm right there with you... I fit in to the "Folksy" description. Just a regular guy... with some commercial/industrial painting skills and web development as my fall back. I'm 51, lets face it, I may only have a decade of physical labor left so web dev is my fallback.

Thank You! The owner, a good friend of mine for 30+ Years is "hands down" one of the hardest working guys I know. We've traveled all over the United States to complete projects, some ranging in the millions of square feet.

What can I say, it's one of the largest operations I have ever been involved with and I really enjoy the travel, the scale of projects, running jobs, and the (ding ding)... money.

I tried for the better part of 15 years to get away from it thinking a desk job was the way to go. Turns out, sitting behind a desk for 8 hours a day is actually more hazardous to your health.

Anyhow, cheers and I look forward to participating in the forums.
