Exclamation remodeling 100 year old house

We have been redoing my grandfathers house built in the 1920"s. The front porch was added in the 60's. It is a thick like terracotta brown tile with complete tiles on the edges and side.(several on the edge of porch I will have to replace with same size ceramic tile) The main porch is like broken tile with large grout lines. The steps are brick so I want to replace missing tile and then paint porch. Just wondering what would be the best way to redo this porch. It is not a large area and is somewhat covered.
