Default Rough landing but I'm here, lol...

Hi Everyone,

I'm Harry Carter, owner of the Carter School of Estimating and Carter Estimating, Inc.

My family has been free-lance estimators for over 50 years (my father formally began the service in 1965 but my grandfather was doing same in the 40's), The school was started by my father in 1976, formally in 1978. We have had over 6,000 students in those years and now I am teaching sons and grand-sons of students that my dad had taught years ago.

We deal predominately with the commercial sector but do like to help all sectors, including residential and industrial.

I hope to be able to help others here and am certain that I can still learn many things about this trade.

I am a fouth generation painter, third generation estimator, instructor, consultant for the "finish trades" and follow my Dad's footsteps as he followed his Dad's.

I have read many of your posts and wish all of you luck in business and life in general...

Regards,
Harry Carter

Welcome Harry, glad to have you here.

Maybe you will be able to shed some light on the once a week "how do i estimate" questions.
