Default SCpaintguy introduction

Hello everyone. Call me SCpaintguy. I have been in the paint and coatings business for 25 years. 18 behind the counter and the last 7 on the road as a dealer rep. I am a NACE Coating Inspector Level One - Certified, and have exptensive experience with most architectural and industrial products and systems. I am also an excellent color matcher, as well. I look forward to chatting and hope my input helps those in need, as well as offering options for helping grow your business and profits while bringing increased value to your customers.

Welcome.

I'm sorta interested in becoming a NACE inspector. Any future in that?

TJ Paint ... NACE Peer Review (level I, II and peer) will earn $35 - 45 an hour depending whether theyre on the owner or contractor side. Of course their experience level (minimum 3 years).

If you get into the industrial end (lead abatement work) you can do more if youre SSPC C3/C5 and have the OSHA 10/30 etc.

Further, consultants (GPI, STV, KTA-tator, etc.) will reimburse mileage and will provide decent benefits and training.

Shoot me an email if you want more info.
