Welcome to pt.

Sorry to break it to ya but you're still a virgin, this is a forum not a blog.

welcome DVANT,

Although I won't hold it against you, my back does bristle when people refer to forums discussions or listserves as "blogs"

although most blogs can be interactive and by multiple authors, they originated as a single author who would post informational "articles" on a regular basis. The ensuing comments would be reactions to such article. "Blog" is a truncated word for "Web Log"

A forum (such as Paint Talk) is more of a discussion group with many different "threads" , each thread supposedly being centered on one subject.

That's the short version, and there are many variations.

OH, and a "listserve" is an email based communication tool. Yahoo groups and Gmail groups are examples of them

But welcome, again, and hope you can learn more - which is the main purpose of this forum - to exchange information in an effort to broaden everyone's knowledge.

Are you suggesting that we PTers wander off the subject sometimes?

Well my distraction is spelling.

Five out of about fifty is a pretty high percentage.

If you want to be taken seriously you'll pay a little more attention.

I'm not sure the OP was actually suggesting they were a blogger. I think the OP mistook participation in a forum as blogging.
