Never argue with a fool - they will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Welcome, line painter

Can you talk a little about the kind of paint that you guys use on pavement?
(makeup of the paint, drying time, etc). Is it the same thing that is used on roads?

Come on mista johnpaint! Evebody knows you use bic pen! Best way to keep consistent flow of product!

pintin.. ICI or formally ICI used to have a line that was for nothing but this. Glidden Professional is where you will want to direct those questions. Call your paint rep.

Pintin,

We use SW Setfast and Hotline.

On a fairly dry eve in the 60s the Setfast dries in about 20 min without tracking. The Hotline is much faster and can dry in as little as 5 min. You have to move fast or the paint will set up on the outside of your tip.

In cold weather apps the Hotline can not be beat. We have sprayed as low as 28 degrees w a bucket/ hose warmer.

Have a great night.
