Default Any franchise owner???

I'm wondering what are the pros and cons of owning a painting franchise. Any names in the us or Canada?

Same question. I'm looking into some franchising options right now.

Too many options. Fresh Coat, Five Stars, MeritNow, CertaPro Painters, ColorGlo, just to name a few. There's one new one which was mentioned here in the forum once too: 1-888-wow-1day as well. So overwhelming. Haha.

Well, I'm doing ok now as a full service remodel contractor. But I don't have a "good system" in running things, no exit plan ect... I know I can learn and try to develop one and what not. But limited time available won't allow me to.

That's why I'm thinking about getting into franchising, in hope for a better system, better name recognition, better exit plan (can sell back and hopefully get close to if not ... more than what you invest in the system originally). But I know that all that's just ... hopeful ideas on paper.

So, any advice (and reason why/why not) would be highly appreciated. (I did search and read quite a bit already. Just wanna refresh and concentrate ideas into one thread. So hopefully I won't get a yell from anyone here. )

Thank you.
