Do You Give Employees Holiday Bonuses?-santa.jpg

Quote:
"Giving gifts is an easy way to show appreciation, so it’s only natural that some business owners want to give gifts to their employees. Do you play Santa for your employees by giving them a bonus or some other gift around the holiday season? If not, have you thought about it, but weren’t able to determine if it was a good idea?" Should You Play Santa to Your Employees?
What are your thoughts on giving your employees gifts or Christmas bonuses?

Is this something you do? Why? Why not?

We give each employee a bonus at Xmas time at our holiday party. This year we are having our party at Lucky Strike, a fancy bowling alley in the Verizon Center in downtown DC.

bonuses are based on length of tenure, level of pay and overall productivity of the entire company.

We don't get holiday bonuses. But I swear, the next time I go out to drink with management, no mas Tequila para mi.

That's very generous. I've been debating on giving my employees 1 week net in cash, but I'm sure they would appreciate gross more.

I'm happy with a early quit. Christmas Eve.
Pretty customary.
